On the corporate side, Ed served as Corporate Chief Marketing Officer for Cigna Corporation where he led the worldwide brand transformation program that established the company as a tier one brand in the health and benefits category. Ed also served as Vice President of Brand Development at Lincoln Financial where he established the company’s external brand (Futureself®) while generating alignment, integration, and ownership through all key customer touch-points. And while at The Travelers Ed repositioned the brand as a diversified financial services enterprise through the You’re Better Off Under The Umbrella theme. Ed also served as Chairman of the Conference Board’s Corporate Brand Council, an elected position for 3 successive terms.
Ed created his company, VitaLincs to help client companies be more vital to the markets they serve. This is accomplished through a variety of consulting assignments and new ventures such as MD Insider, The Good For You Network and digital content marketing platforms for the women’s market.
Through VitaLincs, Ed also creates and conducts a variety of executive marketing courses and workshops... assignments have included: Cigna, Dow Chemical, Outback, Sallie Mae, Sartori Cheese and select clients of the Association of National Advertisers.
